As the ASCE 2021 election nears – voting opens May 1 – members can learn more about the official nominees for president-elect through a series of candidate forums this month.
The official nominees for 2022 ASCE president-elect, as selected by the Society’s Board of Direction Nominating Committee, are Maria Lehman and Peter M. Moore.
Dennis D. Truax has been elected ASCE’s 2021 president-elect by a majority of Society members.

The election for the 2021 ASCE President-Elect and Society Directors and Region Governors opens Friday, May 1, with votes accepted through 6 p.m. EDT, June 1.
The membership will also vote on amendments to the Society’s Constitution, including an amendment to give Affiliate Members the right to vote. The proposed amendments are available to review here.
