2020 ASCE Election Opens May 1

The election for the 2021 ASCE President-Elect and Society Directors and Region Governors opens Friday, May 1, with votes accepted through 6 p.m. EDT, June 1.

The membership will also vote on amendments to the Society’s Constitution, including an amendment to give Affiliate Members the right to vote.  The proposed amendments are available to review here.

Members at the grade of Associate and above are eligible to vote online.

Paper ballots are available upon request until May 22; email Patty Montgomery at [email protected].

  1. As the region 9, there are two people nominated Keneth and Tapas, they have my vote.

  2. Members should carefully review the constitutional amendments. There are some pretty sweeping changes. I would like to see more debate pro and con about these amendments. A lot has happened in the world since these were proposed.

  3. I would like more detail about the reasoning behind allowing Affiliate members to vote. I don’t agree with this.
