Kerins Named ASCE Fellow

David Kerins, P.E., F.ASCE, a senior onshore civil and structures consultant at ExxonMobil, has been named a Fellow by the ASCE Board of Direction.

Kerins is recognized as an expert in structural engineering for industrial facilities both with ExxonMobil and externally. He is vice chair of the Executive Committee, Energy Division and chairs the Task Committee on Onshore Heavy Industrial Modularization Guidelines.

He is also a fellow and has chaired technical committees with the American Concrete Institute (ACI). He received ACI’s Delmar L. Bloem Distinguished Service Award in 2014.

Kerins received his diploma in civil engineering from Cork Institute of Technology, Cork, Ireland, in 1977. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Louisiana.
