The 2021 ASCE Election is officially open! You can help shape the Society’s future, by voting on who will lead the organization.
The main race on this year’s ballot is for 2022 president-elect, with the winner going on to become ASCE president in 2023. Nominees Maria Lehman and Peter Moore are hoping to earn the support of eligible voting members in this decision. If you haven’t already, be sure to get to know the nominees before making your pick. Additionally, the ballot includes an annual slate of director and governor races.
The elections will also decide several key issues within the Society, such as the proposed constitutional amendment granting student members voting rights. This measure requires two-thirds approval by voting members to go into effect.
