Daniel S. Cronquist, P.E., P.L.S., F.ASCE, a senior engineer and project manager with AECOM in Bakersfield, California, has been named a Fellow by the ASCE Board of Direction.
Cronquist has 16 years of professional experience, which includes the design and construction administration of numerous municipal and private improvements. His areas of expertise are hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, infrastructure design, utility coordination, and master planning.
He has been active in ASCE since college and has held numerous leadership positions, including president of the Southern San Joaquin YMF, president of the Southern San Joaquin Branch, president of the Los Angeles Section, and chair of a local infrastructure Report Card. He is currently serving on the Committee for America’s Infrastructure and working on the Parks and Schools chapters of the National Report Card.
Cronquist earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He is a professional civil engineer licensed in California, Hawaii, Guam, and Nevada. He is also a professional land surveyor licensed in California.
