Two ASCE members have been honored in the 2020 Engineering News-Record national “20 under 40” list of top young professionals.
Todd Abrams, A.M.ASCE, is principal-in-charge of civil engineering for the WT Group in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, just west of Chicago.
Menzer Pehlivan, Ph.D., P.E., M.ASCE, a geotechnical engineer at Jacobs in Bellevue, Washington.
“What makes me most proud is the professional growth my colleagues and I have experienced over the course of my tenure,” Abrams said. “Working with my colleagues, I believe that we have put together a team that is professional, proficient, passionate and dedicated in what we do on a day-to-day basis. My team is constantly trying to improve all facets of our work and this continued determination to progress is evident to our clients and peers.”
ASCE also honored Pehlivan as a New Faces of Civil Engineering in 2016, and a year later, she featured as one of the civil engineering stars of ASCE’s film Dream Big: Engineering Our World.
