ASCE Groups Honored at 2020 MRLCs

Several ASCE groups were honored with awards during the 2020 Multi-Region Leadership Conferences.

The Metropolitan Section received the 2019 ASCE Outstanding Section/Branch Award for very large Sections (over 2,500 members).

Daniela Zeller, president-elect of the Met Section, along with her team accept the award from ASCE President-Elect Jean-Louis Briaud.

The 2019 ASCE Outstanding Section/Branch Award for large Sections and Branches (1,00o-2,500 members) was bestowed on both the Dallas Branch and Pittsburgh Section.

Dallas Branch leaders accept their award.

Jonathan Shimko, president-elect of the Pittsburgh Section along with Region 2 Governor Patrick Sullivan receive their award.

The 2019 ASCE Outstanding Section/Branch Award for medium Sections and Branches (500-1,000 members) was presented to the Nashville Branch.

Suzanne Herron, Branch president and other Nashville Branch leaders accept the award.

The Outstanding Section and Branch Award for small Sections and Branches (fewer than 500 members) went to the Truckee Meadows Branch.

Brian Moon accepts the award on behalf of the Truckee Meadow Branch.

The 2019 ASCE Section/Branch Website Award for the category of very large members goes to the Texas Section (over 2,500 members).

Accepting the award is Susan Roth, Texas Section president.

The Oregon Section was the recipient of the Outstanding Section and Branch Website Award in the large membership category (1,000-2,500 members).

Accepting on behalf of the Oregon Section is Sophia Burkhart, the Section treasurer.

The Austin Branch was the recipient of the Outstanding Section and Branch Website Award in the medium membership category (500-1.000 members).

Accepting the award: Genest Landry, Austin Branch director.

The Montgomery Branch of the Alabama Section received the Outstanding Section and Branch Website Award honor for Branches in the small category (fewer than 500 members).

Taylor Janney, Montgomery Branch secretary, accepts the award.

The Orange County Branch received the History and Heritage Award.
